Dried chilli seeds, 5,000 or 10,000 SHU
Whole chilli seeds come off dried red chilli as the pods are crushed or flaked. After cleaning and drying to a 10% moisture maximum, we offer them at 5,000 SHU or 10,000 SHU.
The seeds carry a moderate heat and are a separate trade item from the flesh of the pod.

We ship whole chilli seeds in woven bags of 25 kg; the tonnage per container is set in the quotation.
What chilli seeds are bought for
Chilli oil and hot-pot producers add whole seeds for texture and heat. Spice mills can also grind them into seeds powder. A ready-ground version is chilli seeds powder.
MOQ, lead time and samples
For chilli seeds the minimum order is 5 tons, and stock lots have none. Allow about 1 week after order confirmation. Whole seeds are available as a free 200 g sample, with freight paid by the buyer.
